The location felt perfect, just a stone's throw from Edinburgh Castle. The charm of stepping into a historic building drew me in right away. My room had exposed stone walls, which added to the ambiance. The kitchenette turned out to be convenient for quick meals. it featured cookware and an electric kettle. I loved the comfortable bed, guaranteeing restful nights after exploring the city. the lack of signage made finding the entrance a bit challenging at first. I also faced wifi issues that weren't resolved promptly, which was frustrating. Though I appreciated the historical atmosphere, the stairs were quite steep, making it tough to haul luggage around. the unique character and central location outweighed the inconveniences.

Exceptional views of the ancient city from the Royal Mile View Studio Apartment Panmure. Unique historical architecture surrounding the building gives a sense of local culture, creating a memorable stay.
The stairs leading to the apartment are narrow and steep, with half of the handrail missing, making access a bit tricky, especially with luggage. Internet connectivity was frustratingly inconsistent during my stay, often causing disruptions when trying to stay in touch. The lack of adequate signage for navigating the property added unnecessary stress upon arrival, though the proximity to local attractions somewhat compensated for this. Some of the furniture showed signs of wear, diminishing the otherwise charming atmosphere.

The room was charming, with a nice touch of biscuits waiting for us, and the clean, modern bathroom was a pleasant surprise. I loved relaxing in the cozy seating area after a day of exploring and found the terrace beautiful for morning coffee. The old bathroom doorknob was a bit tricky to use, so I’d suggest a quick fix there. 😊
